-
The world is encountering multiple crises - climate change, droughts, floods, energy shortages, food insecurity, and pandemics, to name a few. The talk will explore whether and to what extent the capitalist system might have been the cause of these crises, but also how it can offer solutions to them. The discussion will also ask how the differences between the US and Europe can help deal with the challenges of the 21st century.
