Monica Perosino has been a journalist for the Italian newspaper La Stampa since 2001. She has been covering Eastern and Central Europe, the Baltics, and Scandinavian countries since 2013. Turin-based, but mostly travelling through Central Europe, Visegrad, and Nordic Countries, she focuses mainly on politics, economic,s and social issues, with a particular attention to civil rights and EU ties and perspectives. She is the author of the book La neve di Mariupol (Paesi). She is a IEP@BU Media Fellow
