Gabriella Perotto
Gabriella Perotto is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in EU Law at BLEST (Bocconi Lab in European Studies – Bocconi University) and Adjunct Professor of EU Law at LUMSA University (Rome) She completed he PhD in EU law at the University of Turin with a dissertation on tax competition in the European Union and the limits on Member States’ tax powers, under the supervision of prof. Francesco Costamagna. Her main research field concerns tax competition in the EU and State aid law.
Moreover, she had the chance to broadened her research interests by focusing on other areas of EU law such as the defence sector (EU Strategic autonomy and EU defence industry) and the environmental policy. In particular, her current research project explores the impact of the fight against climate change on EU sectoral policies. Since the climate objective is perceived as a priority at European level, the research will consider how it is integrated into EU policies and balanced with the specific interests pursued therein.
