Lorenzo Lupo

Lorenzo Lupo works on the development and application of natural language processing (text AI) techniques to social and economic issues. Specifically, he is currently working on extracting information from social media to predict survey outcomes, especially focusing on survey questions about wellbeing and inequality. Moreover, he is working on the application of state-of-the-art language models (such as GPT4) to speed up text coding for social science research. Prior to these projects, he worked on machine translation.
