Mara Cameran is a Researcher (Ricercatore Confermato) of Financial Accounting at Bocconi University with a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the Bocconi University (2000). She is also Italian Certified Public Accountant and Lecturer in Accounting, Control, Corporate and Real Estate at the Finance Department of the SDA Bocconi School of Management.
Her research interests include audit market regulation (e.g. mandatory rotation), individual auditor characteristics and their impact on the quality of the service delivered, and accounting education. She is also interested in the ethical and equality dimensions related to the accounting profession.
