Maria Antonia Panascì

Maria Antonia is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Bocconi Lab for European Studies (BLEST), which she joined in 2021 with a project on the impact of Next Generation EU on EU fiscal integration. Her research interests lie in European constitutional law, in particular in the fields of Economic and Monetary Union (EMU), EU citizenship and welfare law. Her public engagement activities include a podcast episode and a TEDx talk on broad issues of EU law. 

She holds a PhD in Law from Durham University (2021), where she was a Teaching Fellow in International/EU Law (2021-2021) and Co-Director of the Durham European Law Institute (2021). She was also a Visiting Doctoral Researcher at New York University (2018-2019) and will be a CIVICA Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in 2024.
