Gian Luigi Gatta is Professor of Criminal Law at the University of Milan and President of the Italian Association of Professors of Criminal Law. He is editor-in-chief of the online scientific journal Sistema Penale. He has been a visiting professor at Cornell Law School, Beijing Normal University, and Diego Portales University in Santiago, Chile.
