Jeffrey Althouse is a researcher and lecturer at Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN), as well as a co-coordinator for the World Bank C3A Program's Nature Transition Hub. His research attempts to highlight the key macroeconomic and financial obstacles to creating more harmonious human-nature relations and illuminate pathways forward. He previously worked as an environmental economist for the Banque de France, where he conducted research on the macro-financial risks associated with nature loss and the sustainability transition. He holds a PhD in economics from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord.
