Sergio De Nardis studied at the Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Essex in England. He was a researcher at Isco, senior economist at the Confindustria Study Center, director of macroeconomics at Isae, Chief economist at Nomisma, and director of Macroeconomic Analysis at Upb (Parliamentary Budget Office). He is a member of the scientific committee of the Masi FoundaMon, of the Istat research laboratories, of the Advisory board of the Italian Economy journal, and of the editorial board of Inpiù. He has been a member of the editorial board of the ICE Report, the Journal of Economic Policy, and the scientific committee of l'Industria. He has held teaching positions at the Luiss-Guido Carli University, the University of Urbino, and the Higher School of Economics and Finance. He is the author, alone or in collaboration, of essays published in Italian and international academic journals and of monographic volumes on the issues of privatization, on the labour market, on the model of specialization, and on the behaviour of firms in international integration.
