Brunella Bruno is a tenured researcher in Bocconi University's Finance Department. Her primary research interest lies in empirical banking, with a focus on the effects of regulation and supervision on bank behavior. Her most recent research explores the impact of climate-related risks on banks' activities.
Brunella serves as a member of the steering committee at Blest, the Bocconi Lab for European Studies, and is a research fellow at the Bocconi Baffi Carefin Centre. She is also a member of the Expert Panel on banking supervision for the European Parliament. In 2020, Brunella received the national scientific habilitation award as a full professor.
