Andrea Bignami is the editor-in-chief of the economics desk at SkyTg24. He is the author and host of the daily news programme SkyTg24 Economia, which has been running for over 20 years, featuring leading figures in the Italian and international political-economic debate. The show stands out for its focus on economic policies, particularly at the European level. It tackles crucial topics such as EU governance, global market dynamics, and the challenges of economic sustainability, as well as issues related to the Italian economy.
Throughout his career, Bignami has worked as a correspondent for La7, Rai, and Sky, and has produced documentaries for the Franco-German network Arte. He has covered major global economic events such as the subprime mortgage crisis, the Greek debt crisis, Italy’s bond spread turmoil, and Brexit.
As a graduate in Political Economy from the Catholic University of Milan, he combines his passion for economics with his academic background, striving to make the complex intersections of politics and economics accessible and engaging for both experts and general audiences.

Laura Bottazzi is Full Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna. She is a Fellow at the Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research (IGIER) at Bocconi University, the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London, and an affiliate of AFFECT, the American Finance Association’s committee for women in finance. 

Recognized among the top 100 experts in Economics and Finance in Italy, her research focuses on international economics, innovation, venture capital, corporate financing, shock propagation, and financial literacy. 

She earned a degree in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Fernando Giancotti is the President of the Centro di Alti Studi per la Difesa (CASD) and a Professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
