La Nuova Germania di Merz nella Post-Globalizzazione

Even before taking office as the new German Chancellor, Friedrich Merz has already reshaped Germany—and the entire European Union. The return of a Germany ready to take center stage, willing to incur debt like never before to support its economy, is raising both hopes and concerns in a Europe struggling to keep pace with Donald Trump's United States in terms of trade, defense, and strategic policy.
We discuss this with Irene Agnolucci, a researcher at Bocconi University and fellow at IEP@BU, an expert in European law—particularly the single market and state aid—and with Timo Lochocki, visiting fellow at ECFR, who specializes in German politics and populism, and has just published the book German Interests: How We Can Become the World’s Most Powerful Democracy and Save the Liberal West.
